A friend's sweet 16 : )

Last night I had the best time ever with my good friend Jess, She turned 16 today. (Happy Birthday!!) Becky had to stay home though. She is doing well and this is her first Christmas!! Yay! 

Becky's First Christmas party!

Becky did really well at the Guide Dog Christmas party! She was so awesome!! There were like 30 dogs and about 8 of them were puppy puppies. (They were so cute!) Becky has a sister named Breeze! Is that not so cute or what!?!?! And We got to see Sarah! (Becky's first raiser) She is raising another puppy and he is a cute little man! Well she did really well!!!!

My bad day

On Sunday night I was not feeling good at all!!! I asked my sister to watch Becky while I went and laid down for a while. I ended up falling a sleep, and when I woke up Becky was in her kennel (Which was open) watching me. It was really cute.

Yesterday I was not feeling well (Like today but worse) I had Becky in my room with me with her kennel open, while I was reading she came and put her head on my chest and licked my chin. She gave me this look of "You okay mommy?" It was super adorable. I petted her for a minuet and she went and played with her Kong. A few minutes later I started coughing and she left her Kong and came to check one me. It made my day. 

Thanksgiving day!

Today Becky will smell her first Thanksgiving! I'm just sad she won't taste any of it. Poor puppy.

She is doing much better in school! She tends to sleep during my first two classes which is great! It makes things a lot more easy. She plays as much as she can when I allow her to. And she is getting better at the "Leave It" Command. 

I'm glad to have her here with me this Holiday, because she has taught me so much about growing up. I'm glad that I get to train her. I love her and I would not trade her for any of the dogs in the program!

My Saturday Afternoon.

I'm getting ready for a talent show in December, I don't know what I'm going to do yet. I want to sing, and it will be right next to Christmas, but I really don't want to do a Christmas song. I just saw Harry Potter &/the Deathly Hallows! (With my dad and little sister) It was amazing! (It made my dad jump!) It was fantastic! 

Becky loves to rough-house but I'm not allowed to let her. So she is a little upset with me about that. But it's okay she will learn, she is smart ad eager to please and eager for treats so I'm noticing that when it comes to things I can treat her with she is more willing to do. She loves to chew! It's fun just to see her play with something because she tosses it up into the air.

We took the guide dogs to Lowes today to get them introduced to the shopping carts! It was rather entertaining. School is going great. I love that I'm going to get some help with Becky next semester. A girl from school is transferring into the class! (YAY!!!)



Becky's first snow....

Becky just had her first day with snow, it was quite entertaining. she had no idea what to do with it and then she stuffed her nose in as far as it could go, then she tried to throw it in the air, the she tries to taste it and spits it back out and gives me the look, as if I forced her to eat it : )
She is going to me a green M&M for Halloween. : ) It is so cute. It just goes under her jacket like a cape.

Becky is hard to deal with sometimes. = ) But she is so cute, and sweet that she can get away with it. She started barking in class two weeks ago and after getting after her a few times she got the hint. I took her on a walk with my mom and our chocolate lab named Harley, they get along well and I think I'm going to just take an hour a day and make sure she can just... run. she is way too hyper for her own good, and it keeps me on my feet. : )
Me on the other hand? Well I'm having some issues with some friends being out of my walking range. One in Idaho, another in Taipei, Taiwan. another who is planning on leaving for Nevada, soon. I wish I had more time to get out and be with some friends who will not drive me nuts! Maybe soon.... :-\

A long week.

I have had a long week. I'm just glad this week includes two days off from school!!! Yay!! : )
Becky is being a really cute puppy. But she also likes to chew.... It is a good thing that she has not chewed any of the furniture. : )
She has had some tummy issues and I think it is due to her dogie food. ) :

My sick day.

I stayed home today because I'm sick. I hate staying home! And on a B-day!?!?! Yeah making this up is going to suck!
I closed off the living room and Becky got to sit with me, we played all day, she seems to be in a good mood. And she is feeling much better today. I wish that I was ready for this weekend there is a lot to do, and not much time to do it in. It feels good outside and Becky and I are going to sit out there because we can. : )

Becky's bad day

"How are you?" "I'm fine thanks. : )" "Not you, the dog." "Fine then. DO NOT PET HER! Idiot."
"Are you blind?" "Well I was not blind yesterday, I probably will not be blind tomorrow, so am I blind today? No I don't think so, and the dog is 'In training' It says so on the vest, I also told you that yesterday."

Becky was not feeling well today, which means that she was naughty..... all day : (
I wish she had behaved today. I guess It's all over so no use crying over spilt milk, or a knocked over garbage can, or an accident in the hall... We will have to work harder on that. : )

My fisrt week of Becky

Becky has been with me for 9 days. She has adjusted well. She has done very well at school too. She hates her lead, and loves to eat. She lunges at everything, but is getting better at the "Leave it" command. I love having her, but she is very time consuming, more so than I thought she would be. She loves the attention we get at school but not everyone likes having her there. And not everyone likes the fact that they have to ask me in order to pet her. She has learned "Sit" and does it best when she has her lead on.
As for me? Well having her at school is hard. I get more attention than I want, and I have to get after some people for trying to feed her (That makes people not like me very much). I have noticed that people give me the strangest looks in the halls. I wish they could see how funny their faces look. Lol. Hopefully they used to seeing her and maybe they will learn how to read the vest and know that she is in training, because I'm sick of the questions I keep getting. "Are you blind?"(with a snobby look and tone) "Why do you have a dog... At school?" and the ever so popular "What is *his* name?" I wish people would just get a life and mind their own business. Oh well another wish for another day. :-)

day 3

I had to leave Becky at home today. She will be 1 year old tomorrow, and it will be her first day of school... I am a little nervous about taking her to school, but I am glad that I have one friend to take to my first day in a new seminary class tomorrow. I had to switch out because I was an aid for special needs seminary, and they made me switch out so that I could take Becky. My seminary pres. is still not happy with the idea but he will come around...... I hope.
Wish us luck on Becky's first day of school, and wish me patients with her.
